The First, and Only line of Scorched finish Acoustic Drums! ...from lil ol' me...ForeverScorched
This is a wip obviously because it is at this point only a shell, and has not been assembled into a drum. It is though, the first of many drums that I will be creating with my husband (a well known, and highly experienced professional in the percussion industry) using his vast knowledge of all things loud, my artistic and pyro skills and assistance from one of the best custom drum builders in the southeast! Exciting isn't it? Well...we can promise quality, attention to detail, expert advice and a Really Freaking Awesome Drum that No One else will ever have (unless you sell it to them later, ) This finish far surpasses any wrap or stain.
Shell is High Quality Keller Maple. With a 100% hand burned original knotwork piece around the drum, and celtic style badge on one side. size is 10x6" uncut (no snare beds)
There are two more on the way soon, as well as a hand drum. If you are interested in purchasing This drum, and having it completed to your specifications please send me a note, as it Is Available for Purchase.
Wow... I do not know how you do it! All of those straight lines, all of that symetry, yeesh! Nicely done! Been wondering where you've been hiding Made my first lame attempt at the whole pendant thing! ~

...and I am downright amazed, at what I can destroy with just a hammer.
oh yes, I always use guides for knotwork, so I don't loose myself in the pattern while burning (or anything I want to keep nice and clean like that really, lol) especially going around the drum like that. Many thanks!
yay. a wonderfully generous friend of mine recently went on a tagua nut gathering spree and has offered a few to me to experiment with....should be interesting.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
